How do I connect Hubspot & Superglue via Zapier?

Zapier is an online tool that allows you to connect two supported applications using automation. Zapier lets you send data between Hubspot and Superglue automatically, no code required.

Preparation

Superglue currently connects to Hubspot via Zapier (a native integration will follow soon). While the setup is very easy, there are a few limitations that require additional configuration in Hubspot. Nothing out of the ordinary though and we’ll help you get this up & running in no time!

All Superglue automations are triggered on a contact level. The same is true for all segmentation and personalization that takes place within Superglue. That means that any data that is not currently available on the contact level needs to be copied to a contact level property. Fortunately Hubspot makes this very easy.

a) Copying company information into contacts (complexity: low)

This mostly includes properties like: “Partner”, “Partner type”, and “Partner tier”. This helps you ensure that just partner contacts are pushed into Superglue messaging flows and it enables to you set up specific messaging flows for e.g. tech partners or SIs.

Enabled use cases:

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to Automation > Workflows.
  2. Select Create workflow > From scratch
  3. Choose Contact-based workflow > Blank workflow
